Dixie moved from Colorado to the Lakeside area in 1987, with her two children, Bryan and Cassie. In 1993, Dixie bought Professional Realty in Chapala. In 1998, she merged her office with David Merryman, who was the broker of Fenix Realty, and they opened Re/Max Fenix.
